By now, Hennessey Performance Engineering needs no introduction. The company is well known for its work fine tuning domestic performance machines to ridiculous levels of power. In the greater scheme of things, the HPE550 package for the 2015 Cadillac Escalade is not the company’s most outrageously fast or powerful package ever produced. But with 557 hp and 542 lb-ft of torque, it’s certainly no slug and promises to substantially improve on the Escalade’s already respectably quick 6-second-flat 0-to-60 performance.

In addition to the supercharger package, which goes for $15,950 installed, you can also get a set of Hennessey’s H10 monoblock forged-alloy wheels for $6,950. Additional personalization options are only limited by the customer’s imagination and budget. But, if you’re shopping for a new Escalade with a more than $70,000 starting price, a few tens of thousands here or there shouldn’t be a deal-breaker, right?

If you’re the owner of a Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, Yukon, or Yukon XL Denali -- or any other vehicle equipped with GM’s L86 6.2L direct-injected V-8 -- you can get the same pricey but potent supercharger upgrade, and Hennessey-tuned vehicles are available to order through selected authorized dealers nationwide.

Cadillac raised the bar on the 2015 Escalade’s interior, giving Hennessey an even higher starting point for customization.
