Vortech Engineering introduces a supercharging system for the '03 GM 5.3L light truck and SUV engine. The addition of the V-2 SQ SC-Trim supercharger is said to increase horsepower from 285 to 370 and torque from 325 to 406 lb-ft at the flywheel. The system comes complete with all necessary components needed to bolt the system to a stock vehicle and allows retention of all factory accessories, including A/C and power steering. The system is 50-state smog legal and is available in satin or polished finish, with a three-year limited warranty.
