The big news at last year’s SEMA show was that GM’s E-ROD LS3 now carries an EO number, meaning it’s emissions-compliant for OBD-1 (1995) and earlier model vehicles. That’s a great engine for hot-rodders, but GM didn’t leave well-enough alone. Joining the LS3 are a 7.0L LS7, 6.2L 556hp LSA, and a 315hp 5.3L. All three engines are currently going through CARB approval and should all carry an OE number soon. The engines come with almost everything you need for an install except a fuel tank, pump, and lines, a check engine light, and intake ducting.
