Leading off our classic truck issue, this '68 Chevy was prepped to the nth degree before it received the glass-smooth DuPont finish. The meticulous bodywork and monochromatic look are fitting since it was built by Lee Milinich, a fourth-generation body man. The bodywork is just the beginning to this custom. Check out Issue 7 for an up-close look at this classic beauty.
Beautiful Florida weather and tons of custom trucks at BloodDrag 2006 had spectators lining the runway of the Live Oak Airport. Check out our next issue for shots of some of the hottest trucks and some serious draggin'.
Just because our next issue is our classic truck issue doesn't mean we're going to ignore late models. Lou Goedhart's '99 Silverado began its life as his work truck, and after years of faithful service he decided it deserved to be retired from a life of toil. Now the Silverado lays frame and it just hauls...well, you get the picture.
Truck shows are a great place to get ideas for your own project vehicle, and Truckin' was on hand for the Ludikrs show in Rialto, California, to help get your creative juices flowing. We nabbed a few features while we were there, but be sure to check out the rest of the show in our next issue. There were dozens of custom trucks that deserve a second look.
