Furious Ford
Antonio Flores, from Houston, Texas, loves his '97 Ford F-150 XL. Antonio wanted to give his truck a performance-minded look, so he slapped on a set of 18-inch Lightning wheels and 285/55R18 Michelin rubber. A 3-inch Stalker hood, front bumper cover, side skirts, and yellow racing stripes give the Ford a mean, aggressive demeanor.
Built For Speed
This '08 Ford F-150 STX has been crossbred with Roush, Ford Racing, and SVT aftermarket goods and the truck's owner, Russell Jones, couldn't be happier with the final outcome. A Roush hood scoop and grille add performance styling while the 20x10-inch Motor Sport wheels and Road Hugger tires quickly propel the Ford down the Clarksville, Tennessee, highways. Future plans include a lowering kit, brake upgrade, and a power programmer.
Distracting Dodge
Nineteen-year-old Andrew Echternach, from Okabena, Minnesota, swears that his love affair with his '97 Dodge Dakota almost cost him his girlfriend. Instead of spending money on taking her out to dinner and the movies, Andrew chose to drop his coin on new 17-inch wheels and lots of chrome accent pieces for his truck. Andrew upgraded the stereo system so he can drown out any unwanted sounds, especially eardrum-piercing complaints coming from the passenger seat. Trust us, you need to find a girl who supports your hobby Andrew.
Zesty Z71
Rich Lahman likes his trucks customize but not too far over the top, so he decided to moderately trick out his brand-new Chevy Silverado Z71. A tonneau cover, chrome mirror covers, billet grille inserts, and 22-inch Helo 835 wheels with Falken tires were all it took to greatly improve Rich's truck from its stock status. For additional horsepower and fuel economy, a K&N cold air intake was thrown under the Chevy's hood.
A Subscriber's Ride
Miguel Barragan, from San Joaquin, California, owns this awesome Chevy Silverado that he has recently lowered with a McGaughy's 5/7-drop kit. A set of 22-inch RIMZ wheels, a custom two-tone paint scheme, and a few accessories in the way of a billet grille and smoked taillights, makes Miguel's truck stand out from the crowd at each and every stop light.
D.I.Y. Dodge
Joe Lohr leads a very busy family life but he has managed to save some time for building his '81 Dodge D-250. Luckily, Joe has a large garage and is rather skilled with a wrench, so lifting the truck 10 inches, which includes both the suspension and body lift, wasn't an impossible task. Joe has also mounted a set of Summit Racing 16.5-inch wheels and 38-inch Pirelli Jones tires, as well as laying down the Dodge Viper Red paint to the Dodge's metal.
