Lowerado

This ’07 Silverado belongs to Ty Hoffpauir. After owning the truck for only six months, Ty has already lowered it with a McGaughy’s 4/6 drop. He then upgraded the wheels to 22-inch Boss 315s. The interior features paint-matched pieces as well as a kicking sound system that is comprised of two Power Acoustik P3 15-inch subs, a 5,500-watt PA amp, and a Kenwood 7-inch head unit. Next, Ty wants to color-match the bumper as well as convert all the lights to LEDs.

Just Right

Cliff Viehweg’s 2007 Dodge 2500 has the 5.9 Hemi with a Suncoast tranny, AirDog lift pump, Industrial Injection CP3 fuel pump and injectors, ATS turbo, Bully Dog programmer, intake and exhaust. All this stuff makes it go really fast, but to make it look really good, Cliff installed a 4-inch lift with 35-inch tires. To finish it off, Cliff painted it dark blue and had purple flames airbrushed on the sides.

Grim Reaper

Derrick Ball, of Houston, Texas, owns this 1997 Chevy 1500. As you can see, he’s lowered the rear of the truck two inches to make it level. He then added a set of 22-inch Colt 45 wheels with Falken tires for the rolling stock. From there, Derrick turned his attention to the body. First he added a GMC front clip with a billet grille, then he shaved the tailgate handle and taillights where he had custom airbrush work applied. A truck without taillights is illegal, so he molded a set of Supra taillights into the roll pan. From there he decided to make the truck perform as good as it looked, so he added a K&N performance intake and Flowmaster exhaust to the factory 5.0L. Inside, Derrick added a Kenwood head unit, four 15-inch subs all hooked up to MTX amps for maximum loudness. In the future, Derrick wants to bag his truck for a meaner look.

Hawaiian Avalanche

From Kapolei, Hawaii, comes this 2008 Chevy Avalanche owned by Jake Ramos. A McGaughy’s 3/5 drop brings this Avalanche closer to the ground while a set of Giovanna Canelli 24s inside of Nexen 295/35R24 tires keep it rolling. For better respiration, the engine has been fit with a 40 Series Flowmaster exhaust. For audio, Jake went with Diamond Audio for the mids and highs and Kicker for the lows in the form of two 15-inch subs in a custom box. Next, Jake plans on adding a set of HIDs as well as a new 427ci LS engine and 4L60E tranny.

Dan’s Chevy, Eh!

Dan Barkwell, from Huntsville, Ontario, Canada, is the proud owner of this 2010 Silverado 1500 LTZ. Living in Canada can make traversing in the winter tough, but Dan has outfitted his Silverado with the necessities to overcome almost anything thrown at him. Starting with a 5-inch Rough Country lift, Dan then added Mickey Thompson 305/55R20 Baja ATZs wrapped around 20-inch Voxx wheels. The truck is enveloped in black granite metallic paint, while the bed features an Armorthane spray-in bed liner. Other exterior mods include color-matched Bushwhacker pocket fender flares, color-matched window vents, chrome bedrails, chrome tube steps, a chrome Westin push bar, and a dual MBRP stainless steel exhaust. Inside, Dan has installed a screen for his backup camera and heated leather seats for those cold Canadian winters. In the future, Dan wants to add LED lights, a cold-air intake, and a ram-air hood.
