0511Tr Z Causing Some Havoc

The fortunate people of Louisville, Kentucky, were graced with wild and custom trucks of all shapes and sizes on June 18 and 19 when the first Havoc Truck Show sponsored by Primedia's Sport Truck, Mini Truckin', and Truckin' magazines invaded the Kentucky International Convention Center. The Saturday and Sunday show caused a jam as trucks lined up and down Market and Fourth Streets to get into the indoor facility. Inside the Mini Truckin' cover corral, some of the nicest minis at the show were available for an up-close, personal inspection. Outdoor dragging was wild, with sparks flying as mini-truckers laid their rides out legally. After the audio build-off concluded, the awards were handed out to those participants who had put the most heart, soul, and personality into their custom rides. Eddie Cebreco from Blooddrag, conducted the requisite bikini contest where skin to win brought the flash bulbs out in force. Louisville is the perfect venue for a custom truck show, and Fourth Street Live proved to be the best place to relax after detailing your ride. Special thanks to the Galt House hotel for the great accommodations and Southern hospitality. To register for next year's event, contact amber.pierce@primedia.com or (714) 769-7466.
