Fenderwell covers were built and test fitted to flow with the rest of the bed kit paneling.

A floor piece was built using MDF to cover the framing and to really finish things off.

An opening was cut in the floor piece to create an opening for the ice chest.

To clean up the edges and corners of the opening, the wood was placed on the router and the edges were beveled for a clean look and a tight fit.

For the curve in the fenderwell panels, 1x1-inch wood slats were used to create a smooth link between the flat wood panels.

After the slats were glued and nailed in position, Bondo was layered over the slats to smooth out the area.

The area was sanded and cleaned up before vinyl was glued over the top.

The gray vinyl material was loosened with a heat gun before being stretched over the top.

The material was stretched over the fenderwell panel.

The speaker box top panel was upholstered with a combination of gray and carbon-fiber vinyl. Joe applied the glue and prepared to stretch the material.

The vinyl was applied in two-tone fashion to the top panel, and Joe created an ultra-clean seam.

After the material was successfully laid over the front side of the panel, the material was wrapped over the edges and then adhered to the backside.

A micro torch was used to deburr the material for an ultra-clean seam where the material comes together.

The face panel was also wrapped in a two-tone vinyl using gray and carbon-fiber material.

Vinyl was pulled over the backside of the panel and the excess material was cut off.

Small insert pieces were made and wrapped in gray vinyl to fit in between the custom bed floor and the side panels. A bit of bracing was done underneath to allow the pieces to sit level with the bed floor.

A custom top panel for the ice chest, wrapped in carbon-fiber vinyl, will ensure that beverages stay cold.

Tailgate partiers can relax on a custom tailgate panel wrapped in carbon-fiber vinyl. Use your discretion when choosing lumber for such a project. The crew at Audio Innovations used a combination of 1/4-, 1/2-, and 5/8-inch MDF wood for this project.
