The muffler clamp bolts were cranked down with an impact and the install was complete. We were now ready to enjoy some seat time with quick stoplight-to-stoplight throttle response. Gibson recommended a 1-inch clearance on all pipes from rubber brake lines, shock boots, tires, and anything else that might pose a clearance problem. Torque specs for all clamps ranged from 75-100 lb-ft.
