From The Driver Seat
After installing the CGS intake and exhaust components, you could definitely feel the increase in power. Also, a more intimidating rumble exits the CGS free-flowing baffled muffler and tubes. The improved off-road capability and athleticism of the Sierra was evident from the very first segment of our off-road excursion. The elevated ground clearance and increased suspension travel created a more aggressive vehicle ready to take on more treacherous terrain.
The Bilstein shocks seemed to become firmer and work better when they were heated up. The new Custom Ultra Goliath wheels and Cooper Discoverer STT tire combination-with its increased diameter size and weight, which creates a greater rotating mass-would perform better under braking with larger rotors and calipers. The Cooper Discoverer STT aggressive tread design delivered great traction, whether in sand, dirt, mud, or rocky terrain. The overall improvements of this '02 GMC Sierra 2500 Crew Cab made for a great Fantastic Four transformation.
