Pulley System Install - Engine Spinnin' Spools - Tech

The Concept One Pulley System will enhance the performance appearance of the Jon Barrett 350ci 330hp Econo Cruiser crate engine. It's equipped with a pair of JBA shorty headers, Edelbrock intake manifold, and Holley carburetor.

There was no facial obstruction. All of the holes in the block and cylinder heads were re-tapped and cleaned out prior to installing the studs and bolts.

The 13/16x3-inch and 13/16x4-inch studs were given a coat of ND thread locker to guarantee the studs from backing out.

The 13/16-inch studs were threaded 3/4-inch deep into the water pump holes in the block.

After installing the water pump O-rings, the A/C compressor main mounting plate was slid over the water pump studs.

The Edelbrock reverse-rotational water pump was carefully aligned with the mounting studs.

A 3/8-inch ratchet and 3/8-inch socket head Allen were used to secure the nut on the stud.

After aligning and inserting the Allen bolts and washers, Andy Radi of Radi's Customs, Garden Grove, California, used a speedwrench with a 3/8-inch socket head Allen to snug up the bolts and a Concept One crank pulley.

A Snap On 1/4-inch hex T-handle was used to snug up the Concept One water pump pulley.
