During the past 18 months, we've shown you many different examples of how cool your truck can look doing what we consider the four basic modifications of any custom truck: lift or lowering, wheels/tires, intake, and exhaust. We've provided you with fullsize trucks, minis, and SUVs; Chevy, Ford, Dodge, Nissan, and Toyota trucks; and as you can see, the good times keep on rolling.
This month, we tackled a truck from the South and drove to Decatur, Georgia, where Godfather Customs calls home. Known for its extensive line of after-market parts, performance bolt-ons, and wheels and tires, Godfather Customs was a great place to turn a stock '06 Ford F-150 SuperCrew longbed 4WD into a real head-turner.
The formula was simple, we added a 6-inch Pro Comp lift with coilovers, 35-inch Toyo M/T tires, which were mounted onto 20-inch Bazo chrome wheels, and completed the package with a Volant air intake and a new Corsa dual exhaust system. We were amazed at the end result. If you like any of these parts and want them for your ride, then give Godfather Customs a call.
