After loosely hanging the drop-down bracket in place, the supplied template was marked for the required holes that needed to be drilled. A cordless drill made quick work of creating the necessary holes.

It took two guys to hoist the drive axle into place, but once it was there, the rear-most drop-down bracket was bolted and torqued down.

Here, you see Jeff installing the sway bar mounting drop brackets.

He then installed the factory lower control arms and the suspension was coming together nicely.

Then, Jeff was able to install the Pro Comp com-pression struts to the new drop-down bracket and frame.

It was time for the crme de la crme, the massive Pro Comp coilover assembly. Tuned from the factory, these coilover provide rugged aesthetics with real off-road capability. Pro Comp also includes the strut cup, so the coilover is easily installed in the same manner as the Ford shock.

After removing the hub from the factory spindle, Jeff installed the hub onto the larger Pro Comp lift spindle.

He was then able to tighten everything down on the front suspension. The factory brakes were re-installed and the Pro Comp brake line bracket extenders were bolted on.

Jeff followed the torque specs given by Pro Comp, then double-checked his work. The truck's almost ready for Georgia red-clay mud bogging.
