2008 GMC Sierra - Fantastic Four - Tech
New bumpstops give an extra inch of travel, as compared to the factory parts.
The final step for the rear was securing the gas tank in place.
Installing the billet grille in the GMC was pretty simple. The most difficult part was removing the bumper cover and grille. Misha, the owner of Divine One Customs, stepped in to help Chad with this part.
The green masking tape helped keep the chromed plastic from getting scuffed while Misha used an air saw to cut out the center of the GMC's grille.
Misha used a disc grinder to remove the last bits of grille from the grille shell.
Here's a closeup of the brackets that hold the grille in place.
The assembled grille already looks good. Putting it on the truck was easier than taking it off. A few screws, some barbed clips, plastic rivets, and it was done.
Gibson included all of the necessary hardware with its cat-back exhaust kit.
After the hangers were pried off and two bolts were removed, Chuck carried the factory exhaust to the scrap pile in one piece.
