 A T-50 Torx bit was used to...  A T-50 Torx bit was used to loosen and remove the bolt from the steering column.  We like to make the mistakes...  We like to make the mistakes for you. This small, three-jaw gear puller proved too weak for the pressed-on wheel. After trying to free the wheel from the column, the center shaft on the puller began to warp and bent beyond repair. So, off we went to the parts store for a stronger puller.  This 5-ton two-jaw gear puller...  This 5-ton two-jaw gear puller with extra thick brackets was the ticket to pulling the wheel from the splined shaft. A couple of cranks later and the wheel was off for good.  A volt meter was used to determine...  A volt meter was used to determine which wires connected to the horn. Once we traced them, they were marked, then a female slide connector was placed on the solid blue wire.  Check out the beautiful hub...  Check out the beautiful hub AIM Industries made for our Project Sinatra F-150. The tapered, solid piece of billet was polished to a high shine and was setup perfectly for our AIM 3-Ovals wheel. Thanks, Jake, for making this happen.  After using a bolt with an...  After using a bolt with an identical thread pitch and several washers, the hub was slowly pressed onto the splined shaft. Once it was at a safe depth, the factory bolt with some fresh Loctitie was reused. Notice the wires were cleaned up with zip ties.  Here is the cool, solid billet... This design is simple and classy; just the look we were going for.  First things first: the horn...  First things first: the horn hot wire was connected to the horn button terminal on the back of the new wheel.  Using a 1/8-inch Allen socket,...  Using a 1/8-inch Allen socket, the screws we had picked up at Home Depot were tightened down. Small drops of medium Loctite were used on the threads to make sure they didn't back out.
