2007 Chevy Silverado Custom Trucks - Dealer Trucks to Cover Trucks

While at Extreme Trucks, the Chevy also received new 20-inch KMC wheels, wrapped in 325/60R20 (35.4-inch) Nitto Terra Grappler tires.

Taking a look at the '07 GMC Sierra, the matching 24-inch KMC wheels and 295/35R24 Nitto 420S tires looked good, thanks to a McGaughy's lowered suspension. Stopping the new rolling stock was a concern, so we made a trip to Baer Brake Systems in Phoenix.

We had Baer add its new Xtreme Plus six-piston caliper setup to the Sierra. This would add serious performance with serious looks to the lowered counterpart.

With the stock calipers and rotors removed, the new cross-drilled and slotted Baer rotors were slid over the studs.

Setting up the new six-piston caliper for the GMC mounting configuration was simple, thanks to the Baer mounting hardware. The new brake hose block was also bolted onto the caliper. This allows the factory hose to bolt right up to the caliper.

After bolting on the mounting bracket, the assembly was bolted to the McGaughy's drop spindle.

Moving to the rear, we added a new rear disc conversion from Baer. In these pictures, the calipers are red, but we later changed them to yellow.
