To be different, Mr. Henderson and the students dropped in a '06 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke turbo diesel and transmission facing rearward in the bed for better weight distribution. |  A front Dana 60 differential...  A front Dana 60 differential was removed from an F-350 pickup. It was gutted and reworked for proper oiling and a new 4.30:1 gear set and PosiTrack unit was stuffed into the 3rd member. Currie axles were inserted into the differentials axle tubes. |  After the body was patched,...  After the body was patched, pieced, welded, ground, filled and block-sanded straight and smooth, it was given a few coats of DuPont sandable Buff primer. |
 The tailgate was welded into...  The tailgate was welded into the bed and its embossed section was cut out and removed. A pair of '65 Ford Falcon taillight cups were welded into place. |  To release the high pressure...
