After taking the drum off and sliding the axles out, the shoes were exposed and taken apart. An air impact was then used to bust loose and remove the retaining bolts.

Here is a glimpse of the bare axletubes ready for some serious disc brakes.
Using an air impact, the new rear caliper mounting brackets were installed onto the axle.
Next up, the axles were slid back into the axle- tubes and the C-clip and lock pin reinserted into the pumpkin. The diff cover was then bolted back on and new gear fluid added.
