From The Driver Seat
Well, our little experiment worked out great! Not only do we have twice over custom brake lights, but our S-10 now has a look not everyone on the block has also claimed-well, not yet anyway! You don't have to use high-end paint like House of Kolor for your tails, but since Matt is a self-proclaimed sucker for House Of Kolor kandy paints, we let him go nuts with it. We don't blame him one bit though-the lights turned out awesome. The process didn't take long and by making sure the lights are properly prepped, you should be able to yield the same results without any surprises. The paint still allows the LED lights to shine bright through, even more so than if we had smoked the lights with a darker shade. The rich, red colored lights have been pulling loads of compliments so far and since we didn't stray too far from the factory taillight color, we don't expect any negative attention from local 5-O.
