Interior complete and the calendar now reading September 10, Kyle delivered the truck to Pat Gerber and his crew of fabricators at Shocker Motorsports. Pat got to work building a suspension that would clear these monstrous 45.7-inch Goodyear tires.

After each aspect of the frame and suspension were measured, the factory suspension was unbolted and the huge axles were set aside until the new suspension was ready.

Pat teamed with Ryno Manufacturing and created a CAD program for the necessary suspension pieces including the four-link mounts and tabs. Ryno used a CNC-machine to cut each piece to perfection.

Each link bar would be fitted with these extra-large Creeper Joints from trail-gear.com. Each Creeper Joint contains an inner flex ball made out of super-strong 8620 tool steel and is designed to hold up to years of punishment.

With the axles being supported by jacks, each link bar mount was welded to the axles and the bars installed for exact measurements.

The large center bracket with "Shocker" cut-out was then installed to the F-450's large frame.
