A couple twists of the wrench later and we had the slider in just the right position. The retaining brackets slid up and down for the perfect snugness.

Next up, it was time for the front panel to be installed. Again, we aligned the hinges and the panel was slid into place.

After we had all three panels lined up and the compression seal perfectly on top of the bed, we gave it the final test and closed the tailgate. It fit very well and it was time to tighten the mounting clamps.

Something that really impressed us was the heavy-duty locking mechanisms that worked every time we tried them.

We then installed the supplied gas struts. Because of the gullwing design, the cover had four struts.

Opening both ends allowed easy access to the front and rear of the bed. Each panel is also easily removed in just minutes.
