Dropping in place of the factory airbox, the SLP box was easily bolted down.

In went the high-flow filter and then the MAF was connected to the airbox.

Reuben then installed the air inlet tube to the airbox and throttle-body.

With the lid installed in the airbox and the hose clamps tightened, the SLP Blackwing intake was ready to perform.

Closing the hood and opening the driver-side door, we then plugged in the DiabloSport programmer. A few minutes later, our '08 Chevy was tuned for improved throttle response, crisper tranny shifts, and if we can keep our foot off the gas, improved mileage.

Slapping on the SLP 350HP badge, we provided notice to unsuspecting motorists of this Silverado's power potential.

The final piece of the Fan 4 puzzle was the addition of 22-inch TIS style-06 wheels wrapped in Kumho 305/40R22 tires. Talk about looking good when behind the wheel, this combo was impressive.
