We found the best spot for...

We found the best spot for the line manifold and connected the air line from the air valve outlet to the manifold inlet fitting. Unfortunately, there was no way to mount the fitting so it just loosely hung inside the frame. Once each air line was routed from the line manifold outlet to each horn fitting, the brass fittings were snuggly tightened.

The air valve was then wired,...

The air valve was then wired, using the frame as a suitable ground and running the hot wire up to the switch in the cab. Each wire and each air line was wrapped in split-wire loom and routed inside the framerails to keep them as safe as possible. As you can see, the horns were ready to blast and with them front bell-mounted in a straight line, they should sound very even and they looked good too.

After we ran the 12-gauge...

After we ran the 12-gauge wire for the compressor from the pressure switch to the battery, we ran the two wires for our toggle switch. We opted to mount it on the side of the center console for a stealthy and easy-to-reach location. Now all we needed to do was try the horns. We recommend earplugs, really. To hear the horns we installed, go to truckinweb.com and check out the video of us scaring the SoCal public.
From the Driver Seat
A couple of shortcomings in the kit left us scratching our heads. For instance, the top of each horn bell has a mounting stud, but the kit doesn't include any type of mounting hardware for the horns. We also worry about the length of the supplied air line, as 20 feet of air line was barely enough for our truck even though our tank/compressor assembly was mounted very close to the horns and the included wiring wasn't long enough for our crew cab truck. For almost $600, we don't think we should have to go buy anything to install the horns. That said, one flick of the switch and you'll forget about the installation as 152dB rattles through your core and strikes fear into anyone remotely close to you. If road rage is a problem, unleashing these horns on the unsuspecting public may just be the stress release you need. It is addicting and we did warn you.
