After most of the bodywork on the bed was handled, the rear Nitto tires were positioned into place. Due to the wide rear tires, the wheelwells needed to be cut, sectioned, and widened.

Next up, the new fuel cell was positioned into place in between the rear framerails.

More mods were made to the cab including using the factory gas filler location for a powered antenna. Using a large piece of exhaust tubing, the pipe was test-fitted, cut down, capped off, welded into place, and a hole drilled for the antenna mast.

love them old trucks, working on a 65c10 myself chassis motor trans ready having problems with body. Truck looked great until we blasted it. Had to buy new doors, replaced parts of floor rockers, bottom of post, and cabs almost ready. Need to find new or good used bed sides? let me know of or where a man could find some. Your truck "looks great"
