Our Project Tahoe has come a long way from when it was featured in the Fantastic Four article in Issue 1. The lift kit, tires, and wheels made a huge impact on the looks, but something was still missing. The factory grille diminished the look of the front end and we had to make a change. We contacted autoanything.com and ordered the T-Rex X-Metal grille. Since our Tahoe is the Z71 version we had to go with the two-piece grille. T-Rex was an easy choice since they are a leader in aftermarket grilles and accessories for trucks and make simple, easy-to-install products. We decided on the X-Metal grille because it matched our BMF wheels really well and it just looks cool. After receiving the grille kit in the mail we had Bill Carlton and his team at Ekstensive Metalworks of Houston, go to work installing the new parts. If you want rugged good looks for your truck or SUV, give autoanything.com a call.

The install was fairly easy, even though we had to tweak the grille to get it to fit over the factory grille. The complete install can be done in a driveway with a ratchet set and an electric drill. The X-Metal grille made the truck look great, it really complements the BMF wheels, and we are extremely pleased with the front end transformation.
