Finally, the front suspension was wrapped up when the new steering stabilizer bracket was attached utilizing two of the bolts and bolt holes for the front differential as well as a U-bolt around the back of the front axle. The new Icon lift kit makes the truck ride about three inches higher than stock and the new wheels and tires add about another six inches, which is a staggering 10 inches of added height. The ride is great with the upgraded shocks and larger diameter springs. The Trail Grappler tires are a perfect choice for someone looking for a tire that is great on and off-road, providing traction for all weather. There will always be a loss of horsepower and MPG when you lift a truck and install larger wheels and tires, however, the Volant intake and MBRP after-cat exhaust kit overcame the loss in performance. Not only does the intake and exhaust upgrade add performance, they both sound great. Overall, these bolt-ons are well worth the time and money invested.
