10. The 700-R4 transmission was bolted onto the LQ9. All of the factory mounting holes lined up except one. This will not affect the swap and is not present due to its proximity to the rear cylinder. The new torque converter was lined up with the elongated holes and bolted to the LQ9. We checked to make sure there was no contact between the torque converter and flywheel.
