32. Our hunting truck was starting to take shape, but we needed more power to go with the new looks and capability. Adding some ponies to the 5.3L V-8, we bolted on a new aFe Pro5R air intake. First up, the plastic beauty cover was pulled free and the factory air intake hose was removed with a 5/16-inch nut driver.

34. In order to help our 5.3L breathe better, we also wanted to add one of aFe's new Silver Bullet throttle-body spacers. Using a 10mm socket, we removed the four bolts holding the throttle body to the intake manifold.
