With the fender flipped over, Jason used a plasma cutter to notch the inside for additional tire clearance. When you lay a truck as low as we plan on laying Red Rocker, this is a must. A 4-inch radius was used to provide enough clearance for the front 20-inch wheels we planned to use.

At the area where the inner fender structure meets the fenderwell opening, a cut-off wheel was used for trimming the necessary meat, as the plasma cutter would have sliced right through to the outside of the fender.
