OK, F-150 owners, there's good news, and there's bad news. The bad news is there hasn't been a Lightning version of the F-150 available since the new body style debuted in 2004. The good news is that there's been a lot of aftermarket support for the three-valve 5.4L. So, making Lightning-like horsepower is still an option, and this 3d Carbon body kit has picked up on the styling front to complete the package.

After they were buffed and ready to install, adhesion promoter was applied to help make a permanent bond with the 3M tape. |
 A roll of 3M double-sided...  A roll of 3M double-sided tape was painted at the same time as the body kit so that any exposed adhesive would match. |  After three strips of adhesive...  After three strips of adhesive went on, holes were drilled to match factory holes in the rockers. The guys at 3d Carbon placed the urethane pieces in place and used a grease pencil to mark the holes. |  Barbed plastic trim clips...
