Tahoe to Cadillac Conversion - Chevy Escalade

The tops of the new fenders were taped in order to protect them and the new hood that was installed next.

After the hood went on, the hinges were tightened, and the hood liner was installed. This shot of the closed hood hints at the imminent-Escalade looks.

The vertically arranged headlights with integrated markers were installed. They plugged directly into the factory harness and needed only four bolts to secure them. These headlights are the most Escalade-looking design cue to be put on this vehicle so far.

At this point, it was time for the first of the bright work. Some Escalade chrome was installed on the front of the hood.

Next, a bracket that holds the front fascia was screwed on.

The hinge covers were installed.

The Tahoe's side molding was pried off after softening the adhesive with a heat gun. Then, any leftover glue was scraped off of the vehicle's body. The same went for the Tahoe badging on the side of the SUV. This was replaced by the Escalade chrome molding and Iced Out Emz Swarovski crystal-bejeweled Escalade lettering.
