2002 Ford F150 - Custom Truck Hood Replacement

Bolt-ons are awesome. They can easily be added to your ride to instantly change the appearance, and are typically budget-friendly. Hoods are the leading edge for your ride and can make a statement for your truck as soon as you arrive somewhere. Wanting to give an '02 F-150 some extra attitude, we contacted AIM Industries for one of its new steel cowl-induction hoods. These hoods provide muscular good looks and also fit very well. It took less than half an hour for the pros over at South County Customs in Lake Forest, California, to install the new hood. Next up, Manny loosened and removed the hood-mounting bolts.

It was now time to lift the new hood onto the hinges and snug the bolts.

Lastly, the factory hood mat was snapped into place, the hood light was installed, and an adjustment to the hood hinge bolts and stoppers were made to get the hood to line up perfectly.

From The Driver Seat:W e were impressed with the fitment of the steel hood. It only took one small adjustment to get everything lined up nicely. The gaps are small and the cowl-style induction gives the truck the attitude we were going for.
