2002 GMC Sierra Heavy Duty - High Steppin'

AMP Research BedStep. A spring-loaded cam deploys and retracts the BedStep with a simple push of your foot.	Here is the AMP Research BedStep billet-aluminum mounting bracket, high-strength aluminum, corrosion resistant, snap lock linkage, and extruded aluminum step pad.
Ox bolted the aluminum linkage to the billet-aluminum mounting bracket, and then aligned the unit to the rear bumper bolts onto the framerail.	A pneumatic wrench with a 17mm socket was used to secure the BedStep mounting bracket nuts to the rear bumper mounting bolts.
The sturdy BedStep linkage was snapped down into the locked position.	Next, Ox aligned and mounted the BedStep footpad.

Notice how the BedStep tucked up snugly underneath the rear bumper.

Now AMP Research offers their BedStep for effortless access to your truck's bed. Flip it down when needed, or up to stow under the rear bumper. A spring-loaded cam allows the step to deploy and retract with a simple push of your foot. The BedStep can be used with the tailgate up or down. Just step up on the BedStep, then onto the tailgate, and into the bed. After using the BedStep, we simply gave it a tap with our foot from underneath, and it instantly retracted underneath the rear bumper.
