When it came time for UFC fighter Mike "Quick" Swick to ride in style, he contacted HOT Motorsports, in Santa Ana, California, for a makeover on his '02 Ford F-150. For more on Mike and the end result, check out page 72. In this story, we'll show how the team at HOT Motorsports began things with a stock truck and ended up with a show-worthy fighting machine. Several companies are responsible for making this truck look as good as it does and if you see parts you want for your truck, give them a call at the numbers in the source box.

The crew at HOT Motorsports in Santa Ana, California, began with a stock F-150, with the exception of a 6-inch lift that was already in place. Other than that, the paint was beat, interior well-used, and it did not stand out at all in a crowd. |
Here is the stock dash. Gray-on-gray doesn't exactly scream custom. |

Brian, at HOT Motorsports started things off by removing several of the interior plastic pieces and sent them off to myautoextras.com for a custom coating. The panels included: a primary dash cluster, window switch panels, door handle buckets, an overhead console piece, and seat bracket covers.

After receiving the plastic pieces from myautoextras.com, Brian carefully reinstalled the coated interior pieces. |

Check out how awesome the dash and interior looks now after the black Zebrano-coated pieces were all buttoned up. You can also see the Ryno Manufacturing billet pedals added good looks to the dark interior.
