Spectra Chrome - Chrome The Easy Way

Mike Wales and Jim McShea teamed up to paint the metallic pieces. Jim masked off the area where he wanted the chrome body to remain chrome and where he wanted the flames to be colored.

Each graphic, piece of lettering, and airbrushing was done by hand. This paint scheme deserved a cool, chrome body.

After the final coat of topcoat was applied, each piece was set out under the Florida sunshine to really show off the awesome body and paint on the Grave Digger monster truck.

Once the final assembly of the body to the tube chassis was done, Dennis Anderson had himself the baddest-looking rig at Monster Jam.

Check out what Spectra Chrome was able to do for the bead lock rings on the Grave Digger truck. Each ring went through the same three-step process as the body; only this topcoat was purple.

Dennis Anderson is known for his all-out driving style and after jumping the Grave Digger truck and flipping it, the awesome paint scheme was a trophy for the wall.
