1998 Chevy Tahoe Buildup - Tahoe X-Treme Makeover

Anaheim Prestige "Paint Master", Rick Sepulveda mixed the Summit Racing Omaha Orange acrylic urethane paint.

After filling his IWATA 3000 paint gun, Rick covered the top portion with Summit Racing Omaha Orange. Notice Rick's balanced spraying technique.

Giving the Omaha Orange time to cure, Rick began to tape and mask off the top portion of the Tahoe.

The Summit Racing urethane activator simplifies the mixing process using a 4:1 mixing ratio with all of Summit's universal urethane paints. Without the use of a climate controlled paint booth, Summit Racing reducer are also mixed with the Pure White. Due to the cool winter temperature, Rick used Summit Racing's fast reducer for use under 70 degrees.

After a first coat of Summit Racing Pure White, Rick loaded up his Iwata 3000 paint gun again to add a second coat.

After taping and masking off, Rick used his Iwata Revolution HP-CR Airbrush to apply the House of Kolor Lime Green to separate the two colors.

With the House of Kolor paint still tacky, Rick carefully removed the striping tape.

After the Summit Racing Omaha Orange, Pure White and House of Kolor Lime Green were applied with time to cure, Ron used a DA sander for the final scuffing before adding the clear coats.

Rick mixed his final Summit Racing H/S Urethane Clearcoat.
