1998 Chevy Tahoe Buildup - Tahoe X-Treme Makeover

Rick applied the final coats of Summit Racing H/S urethane clearcoat to achieve that high gloss.

Miguel Martinez used a DA sander to scuff the entire Tahoe surface in preparation for the cut, buff and polishing.

Using a DeWalt electric polisher with the X-3 cutting polish would complete the Summit Racing refinishing system.

Miguel made the final passes with the DeWalt electric polisher using the X-3 Cutting Polish to bring out the glistening high gloss Summit Racing clearcoat magnifying the clarity of the Omaha Orange, Pure White and House of Kolor Lime Green.

LMC was our choice for the Tahoe makeover. LMC parts were high quality with good fitment and attention to detail.

After attaching the air deflector PN39-7400 to the front chrome bumper PN39-9809 with round foglights, Terry Elm and Bear aligned and attached the front bumper to the mounting brackets.

The factory headlights were replaced with crystal clear headlights PN37-3337.

After mounting the parking LED crystal clear lights PN37-7459 into the chrome/gray grille PN-39-4062, Terry installed the grille.

The LMC front grille, gold Bow Tie, headlights, LED parking lights, front bumper with round fog lights and lower air deflector updated the leading edge of the '98 Tahoe.

After installing the bumper step pad PN31-3330 and center step pad PN31-3337, Terry and Bear aligned and installed the LMC rear OE style chrome step bumper PN38-9774.

The factory taillights were reinstalled.

After installing the factory taillights, the LMC smoked taillight covers PN38-0891 were temporarily attached with Velcro tabs.
