From the Driver Seat
Once the sanding dust settled and the paint fumes dissipated, the S-10's rear end had a smoother, sleeker appearance and best of all, it was all one uniform color! The Sir Michael's roll pan looks right at home underneath the freshly smoothed out tailgate and the deletion of unnecessary breaks in the body lines cleans up the rear nicely. With the tailgate handle now shaved off from the exterior skin, the S-10 has increased in both style and street credibility. As far as the Checkmate tonneau cover, Tom and Matt did a great job covering up the wavy fiberglass texture of the Checkmate cover, which gives the daily driven truck a higher degree of custom appeal. The quick-release hinges make temporarily removing the cover into a rather simple process-no worries about struggling to pry it out of place, which could cause damage to the fresh paint.
