With the new paint sprayed and polished to a blinding bright finish, there was nothing else left to do except some final reassembly. The tailgate handle assembly was reconnected, placed into the Sir Michaels bracket, and secured into place behind the tailgate.  The final piece of the puzzle...  The final piece of the puzzle was a simple connection of the license plate light housing, which was included with the roll pan. With a few turns of a screwdriver, the S-10's back-end Botox treatment was complete.
