Hot-Rod Flats Thanks to the use of hot-rod flat paints, this sky-high Silverado looks unbelievable.  Both red and black were sprayed...  Both red and black were sprayed flat and the duo looked awesome. Even the logos were sprayed flat black.  Our own Project Super Stunner...  Our own Project Super Stunner was painted using flat black on the bottom half. The matte black wheels with painted-to-match red rings really made the drop-top truck look incredible. The headlights, grille shell, foglights, and door handles were also smoked and painted black to create the custom look.  Using flat black and then...  Using flat black and then a flat clear over the silver stripe made this Navigator look like it had stainless steel running down the hood. This trick is subtle and a real winner at shows. Another cool trick was to paint the Chevrolet logo for contrast and to paint the Bow Tie with a hot-rod flame and pinstripe. Little details go a long ways in the overall look.
