The truck wasn't done when it rolled out of the oven, it still needed to be sanded and buffed to remove the characteristic "orange peel" look. First a DA sander with 1200-grit was used on the areas that were flat enough. The DA was kept off any curves. Here's what the surface of the paint looks like after a light pass with the DA.
