Pioneer could very well co-opt the motto, "Leave the driving to us," with this in-dash head unit, the AVIC-N1audio, video, and navigation system. The unit's navigation system quickly offers accurate and detailed route guidance for any destination - including 12 million points of interest - in the entire U.S. and Canada by using two CPUs to divide the tasks of processing the route, and determining and displaying the vehicle's location on the 6.5-inch LCD monitor. Voice and touchscreen interfaces make it safe and easy to use while driving. If you still manage to get lost, you can measure all those frantic U-turns you'll be making with the Vehicle Dynamics Performance Monitor. Analog and digital gauges on the 6.5-inch LCD monitor track forward and backward G-force, lateral G-force for measuring cornering, angular velocity for measuring turn rate, slope to measure incline, voltage, and compass direction. You will also be able to listen to some tunes on the AVIC-N1's dual-zone audio system as you figure out how to get back onto the freeway. Features include a MOSFET 50Wx4 amplifier, three pre-amplifier outputs, and a three-band parametric equalizer.
