All of the center-console MDF pieces were laid out and ready for assembly.
Danny trailed Elmers wood glue onto the edges of the substructure pieces.
A DeWalt nail gun was used to inject small 1-1/4-inch brads into the MDF.
Then, the nail gun was used to nail the rest of the console pieces together.
The center console was moved to accommodate proper angles to nail the pieces together.
The smaller inner side pieces were aligned and nailed in place.
Danny shows us the finished MDF assembly. Notice the 9-5/8-inch-diameter hole at the bottom of the subwoofer enclosure. It's ready for some final detail filler, sanding, then sealer and paint. That's where the ka-boom comes from.

3M adhesive spray was applied to the bottom of the 1-inch dense foam.

The Audiobahn 10-inch subwoofer was ready to be wired and cranked up.
Ready to be wrapped in suede, 3M adhesive spay was applied to the cutout piece of MDF.
The suede insert added feel and definition to the console.
There it is. A stylish, inexpensive subwoofer enclosure and center console that will rock.
