Finishing off the interior, we upgraded our factory gauge cluster with one of the nicest gauge assemblies we ever installed. Manufactured by Simco Limited, these entire assemblies, not just overlays, use OE Ford parts with custom gauges to provide a look that is comparable to the new gauges found on the '08 Ford F-150. Our gauge cluster came in silver with chrome rings and glows indiglo green at night for a really custom look. The instrument cluster was pre-calibrated for a literal plug-'n'-play install. The before and after looks are incomparable, and it was nice to see the Ford faithful finally can have an upgraded cluster like the Chevy guys have been doing with Cadillac clusters for years.

First, we had to remove the plastic cover from the back of the factory unit prior to accessing the circuit board. | 
After removing the screws that held it on, the old circuit board was reattached to the new Simco cluster. |
With extreme care, the circuit harness was plugged into the Simco unit. The odometer knob was also removed from the factory unit. | 
The lamp connector was then removed and the new pigtail was inserted. |
After the cover was placed onto the new Simco unit, the lamp pigtail was connected with the red wire facing up, as per the '02 instructions. | 
The transmission gear selector was then connected to the Simco unit |
It was time to install the new Simco instrument cluster. | 
Both harnesses were connected and the four retaining screws were installed. |
The new Simco cluster looked awesome inside the dash of our F-150. | |
