By splicing into the Reverse light power, the camera has power only when shifted into Reverse. Once we got the head unit installed we had to twist the camera into the proper orientation, but the install was done.

Pete began the audio install by removing the trim pieces that concealed the door hardware. After a few bolts were removed, the door panel was pulled free of the door.

With the Subthump box in place, we realized that there was really only one place to mount the amps. An 18mm wrench and ten minutes later, the rear seats were gone. There was plenty of room for the amps behind the seats once the rubber-backed felt insulation was cut out. Self-tapping sheetmetal screws were used to mount both amps to the rear wall of the cab. Pete had already attached the RCA cables that run to the head unit and the 4AWG power and ground cables.
