    With the cable in place, we connected the iPod cable to the Peripheral interface box. The next step in the instructions told us to arrange the small DIP switches in the proper configuration as the website instructed. Problem was, the website didn't have any information on the configuration and we had to try all nine configurations. None of them worked and we almost overheated a 30G iPod. After talking with Peripheral's tech department, it was determined we had a faulty unit.
