The Rayzer was powered by a 12-volt adapter that generated a little heat and needed adequate ventilation. Once the location under the dash was found, it was easily tucked away.

On the front of the adapter were the green, orange, and red status lights. The cigarette lighter was a convenient 12V connection, especially if the unit was to be moved from truck to truck. To prevent battery drain, we made sure to unplug the unit when not in use.

The lighting module snapped into place easily and, from the driver seat, was hardly visible behind the rearview mirror. Adjustment wheels on the bottom allowed for precise aiming of both lights, with controls for up and down as well as left and right.

The compact design made it hardly noticeable from the outside, but added a distinctively high-tech look once you spotted it.

The difference between the light output from the factory low beams and the high beams combined with the Rayzer was dramatic! The HID Xenon bulbs inspired great confidence at night, the time when most automobile accidents occur.
From The Driver Seat
Installation was a cinch, taking only about an hour. Because of its design, the Rayzer works best on windshields with a rake of 29 degrees, plus or minus three degrees, so check yours before ordering. The soft rubber flange around the perimeter prevents any light leaks while in use. Mounted at eye level, it puts the light exactly where you need it, aided by four convenient thumb wheels that allow you to precisely aim the lights on both horizontal and vertical axes. Additional docking plates are available from the manufacturer, making it easy to share among multiple vehicles.
