The supercharger requires an intercooler to help keep its temperature under control. A reservoir tank for the intercooler fits onto the radiator shroud, while the heat exchanger bolts into the front of the radiator. One gallon of water and coolant was then added to the intercooler.

Here, you can see the Whipple-supplied air intake assembly while it was being put together. The truck's fuse box, which is normally located at the driver side fender, was relocated in order to make room for the new filter housing.

The air intake assembly was connected to the throttle body.
Finally, everything else was hooked up, and the oil that came with the kit was added to the supercharger. This supercharger's lubrication system is self-contained, and it does not use the vehicle's engine oil. Afterwards, we used a Whipple PCM flash tool to tune the engine.
