2006 Chevrolet SSR - Project Super Stunner

The catalytic converter assembly was lifted into place and bolted loosely to the Y-pipes.

The muffler was connected to the catalytic converter setup, but it wasn't secured.

The split pipes were connected to the muffler, but again, they were not secured.

Two tailpipes were slid onto the split pipes and hung, but not secured.

Four-inch polished stainless tips were attached to the tailpipes. Once all of components of the system were finally adjusted-so that each section of pipe laid just right-and the tips were in the correct position, quick applications of a welder secured everything for good. Finally, the 02 sensors were plugged back into the exhaust system.
