2008 Toyota Tundra TRD Supercharger Installation - 504HP Screamer

The new upper TRD airbox received the factory Mass Airflow Sensor (MAF).

Kurt then removed the factory throttle-body and set it aside to be used on the supercharger.

He then removed the upper radiator hose, removed the fan shroud, and loosened and removed the fan clutch.

The original serpentine belt was then removed. It was now time to disconnect any wire harnesses leading to the intake manifold, along with vacuum lines.

Once the manifold area was clear, Kurt loosened the intake manifold bolts and pulled the plastic intake manifold from the engine.

After relieving pressure from the fuel lines, Kurt pulled the fuel rails and set them on a bench.

The TRD supercharger kit came with new high-flow injectors and it was a simple matter of snapping them into place and reinstalling them.

Because this truck came equipped with a trailer towing package, the water bypass joint needed to be replaced and some of the oil cooler lines extended. After disconnecting the heater hose from the bottom, the bolts were loosened and the old piece removed. The new piece comes with a barb for an extra heater hose leading to the coolant pump.

Because of the new supercharger belt routing, a new idler pulley was installed to help in tension.
